CONEXPO Latin America announces co-location of aggregates industry education conference

Goal is to help producers improve their business operations
CONEXPO Latin America 2015 education will feature a new one-day aggregates conference at the show, designed to give producers practical, hands-on education that will help them streamline productivity and increase profitability.
Rock Products and Mining Media International are organizing the conference, which will be held October 21, 2015 in conjunction with the show. CONEXPO Latin America will be held October 21-24, 2015 in Santiago, Chile (Espacio Riesco).
Aggregates conference topics will include achieving production standards, role of the distributor in equipment education and service, energy issues/portable power generation, water issues, buying new versus used equipment, maintenance, safety, transportation, and plant expansion.

Johnson noted the upcoming launch of a Rock Products supplement, La Cantera, specifically for Latin American aggregates producers. “Mining Media International’s Latin American Editor, Oscar Martinez, will bring ‘boots on the ground’ coverage that is critical in putting together a viable information product for Latin American aggregates producers,” Johnson stated.
