Hewden Takes Selfies to New Heights

-Crane Takes World’s Tallest Selfie as part of BBC Children in Need Fundraiser Event-
Crane hire company, Hewden, teamed up with Festival-goers at CarFest, utilising its 70t Tadano crane to capture what is believed to be the world’s tallest selfie.
Hewden mounted a remote controlled GoPro camera to the tip of its 68m tall crane mast for the selfie, capturing hundreds of people in the process.
Jeff Schofield, Sales Director, Hewden Events, said it was a great initiative for a great cause.
“CarFest is a fantastic family event, which helps raise money for Children In Need,” said Schofield. “This was a great way for us to get involved and use our equipment in a fun and engaging way. The picture was amazing. I’m just glad nobody blinked.”
