MagicEvent.com partners with Intermat exhibition to promote collaborative consumption for business travellers

MagicEvent.com proposes exhibitors and visitors who will attend Intermat in April, a new way to travel to Paris, by using sharing economy resources. Thanks to the white-label partnership with MagicEvent.com, professionals will be able to stay in a studio or apartment, carefully selected to meet their expectations.
An international exhibition such as Intermat, the leading event for construction and materials industries, brings to Paris 1,300 exhibiting companies and 200,000 visitors from 140 countries. There is obviously an impact on accommodation facilities around the exhibition centre. Indeed, during major international events, hotel rooms are fully booked, sometimes a long time before the event. Exhibitors and visitors have no other option than renting a room, away from the exhibition centre, at an expensive price.

“More and more travellers have already used private accommodation rental on collaborative websites for tourism, and they ask for the same advantages for their business trips”

explains Valéry Linÿer, CEO of MagicEvent.com.

“This type of accommodation means you can reduce your spending by 30 to 60%, not including savings incurred on catering or transportation”.

Intermat exhibition offers exhibitors and visitors a dedicated access to MagicEvent.com apartments selected for the event, which they can book directly online. Each accommodation is rated from one to five stars, according to comfort and amenities criteria, such as hotel standards. The distance to the selected exhibition grounds is clearly stated in minutes on foot, in a car or using public transport

“Business days on Intermat are really exhausting for exhibitors and visitors”,

adds Maryvonne Lanoë, Intermat Exhibition Director.

“It is nice to benefit from a quiet and intimat apartment, in a pleasant neighborhood where you can go shopping and dining. For a team business travel, sharing a large apartment enables to organize post-event debriefing, cooking sessions or home food delivery to avoid waiting at the restaurant…”
