Shanghai Calling – CEA to host UK Pavilion at bauma China

CEA LOGO
The CEA (Construction Equipment Association) in conjunction with UKTI has once again successfully organised a ‘high impact’ UK Pavilion at the forthcoming bauma China construction machinery, vehicles and equipment exhibition which takes place in Shanghai China from 25th – 28th November this year. The dedicated Pavilion is expecting to feature more than 20 UK exhibitors comprising construction companies and industry suppliers from the UK.
bauma China is a leviathan of an exhibition, now in its 7th year, which attracts 2,718 exhibitors from 38 countries and around 180,000 trade visitors from 141 countries. A smaller exhibitor might get lost in the show’s enormity without the umbrella of a high profile area devoted to UK industry. The CEA has taken the strain out of exhibiting at a show of this size and offers exhibitors a cost effective fully managed, fitted turnkey shell scheme stand freeing up exhibitors to do what they do best – selling!

According to bauma China, all the international key players show their machines and products at the event. 93 percent of all visitors there are decision-makers who are looking specifically for new solutions: CEOs, managers, investors and buyers from around the world—and of course from Asia’s major growth markets in particular – making it an excellent prospect for UK exhibitors to get in front of potential new customers and ‘fly the flag’ for Britain!
Joanna Oliver MBE, director of Global Programmes at the CEA said, “It’s great that we are able to help so many UK companies at our overseas exhibitions. Even better that we can do it with the support of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) Some of the Pavilion exhibitors will be pretty new to export and some old hands – that’s part of what makes the UK Pavilions a success for the exhibitors – everyone is willing to share experiences, export tips and contacts and lend each other a hand where needed.”
Joanna added, “bauma China is the leading platform for tapping into this important growth market- companies that participate secure themselves the best chances for a high return on their investment and sustainable success!”

CEA member companies that have already confirmed their stand space at the forthcoming event include BSP International Foundations, KM Products Europe, Off-Highway Research, and Padley & Venables.
By booking stand space through the CEA in the UK Pavilion exhibitors will benefit from the economies of scale associated with a large Pavilion which are lower rates than booking direct.
UKTI Trade Show Access Programme (TAP) Grants available.
Exhibitors may qualify for a UKTI Exhibitor TAP Grant of up to £3,000 to help with the cost of a stand, freight, display materials etc. See the TAP Grant Application Form and Terms & Conditions to check your eligibility. The CEA can assist you with the application and will process the paperwork on your behalf.
