Acclaim Handling wins FLTA Dealer Member of the Year Award 2017

Hyundai dealer Acclaim Handling was awarded the Dealer of the Year 2017 by the Fork Lift Truck Association for their contribution to the industry.

On March 4th, the materials handling industry’s most accomplished movers and shakers gathered at Telford’s International Centre to discover who would be taking home its most prestigious honour: an FLTA Award for Excellence.
The glittering ceremony and gala dinner had a distinct circus flavour. Noted broadcaster and raconteur Gyles Brandreth dusted down his top hat and tails to play ringmaster for the night – bullwhip and all!
The FLTA Awards for Excellence 2017 were presented across 10 categories. This year, winners were decided by a carefully selected panel of industry experts. Acclaim Handling scooped the prestigious Dealer Member of the Year Award and beat off some stiff competition.
Acclaim Handling’s Sales & Marketing Director, Philip Hyslop said, “This award is entirely about the daily dedication and loyalty of the Acclaim Handling Team of Engineers, Service Management, Administration and Sales Divisions in supporting our Customers. It is a legacy of the business that our late founder and CEO David Woods would have been extremely proud of and he would have said how full of pride he was of the entire team.”
Presented to the fork truck dealership deemed to have provided the most innovative or appropriate solution to a customer’s materials handling requirements, this Award recognises the team which has best demonstrated a commitment to service; putting the customer at the heart of its business, and embodying the FLTA’s core principles of productivity, integrity and safety.
