Inaugural 2015 exposition will bring world-class event to region
CONEXPO Latin America conducted a well-attended and well-received exhibitor-information meeting recently in Santiago, Chile; construction equipment manufacturers and related industry companies learned details directly from show organizers about exhibiting at this world-class event that is bringing the unique CONEXPO brand of quality and value to the region.
The inaugural CONEXPO Latin America will be held October 21-24, 2015 in Santiago, Chile (Espacio Riesco).
CONEXPO Latin America owner and producer is Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), which also owns/produces the internationally known CONEXPO-CON/AGG exposition.
U.S. Ambassador to Chile welcomed attendees
U.S. Ambassador to Chile Michael A. Hammer offered welcoming remarks; he spoke about the importance of CONEXPO-CON/AGG in fostering international trade, and the positive effects that bringing the CONEXPO brand to Chile will have for equipment manufacturers and the construction industry. Also participating were key executives from the Chilean Chamber of Construction.
“We were honored to have Ambassador Hammer present to show his support,” stated Melissa Magestro, AEM senior director expositions. “And we highly value our longstanding cooperative relationship with the Chilean Chamber; their support has been integral to the launch of CONEXPO Latin America.” Show organizers discussed business conditions and opportunities in Chile and Latin America, and they outlined how exhibitors can improve their business results by participating in this international-caliber show conveniently located in the region.
Exhibit space sales open; priority space-selection deadline is August 30
CONEXPO Latin America targets contractors in the construction, mining and forestry sectors, as well as related industry professionals such as materials producers, service providers and government agencies.
Attendees included global and Latin America equipment manufacturers as well as international media and government representatives. They heard about exhibiting at CONEXPO Latin America to take advantage of this unique sales and marketing opportunity for their companies. They also had the chance to ask questions of show organizers.
“We focus on superior customer service; we want to be sure exhibitors have their specific questions answered so they have a very successful show experience,” Magestro stated.
Exhibit space sales are open for the show. Space applications received by August 30, 2014 will be included in the first round of exhibit space assignments; space will then be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
