International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors' Associations (IFAWPCA) supports bC India

bC India is sold out despite the expanded exhibition area. The International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Association (IFAWPCA) is the newest organisation that has expressed the international support of this construction machinery show. bC India expects an increased volume of visitors thanks to the new cooperation with IFAWPCA, which will serve as an important promotion gateway to the neighbouring countries.
Founded in 1956, IFAWPCA represents sixteen construction industry associations from fifteen countries, including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Singapore. This international organisation plays a decisive role in the cooperation and the development of economic relations within and between the individual countries in the region.
Through its collaboration with bC India – A BAUMA CONEXPO SHOW –, IFAWPCA will invite its numerous member organisations to participate in this international, high-powered event for the construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles in India.
Exhibition space at bC India is sold out despite its increase to 80,000 square metres. The organisers of the event introduced a waiting list to accommodate additional requests to participate in the event, which takes place on February 8 – 11, 2011 at the Bandra Kurla Komplex in Mumbai.
More than 400 exhibitors from 25 countries are expected to participate in the premiere of bC India. Around 50 percent of the exhibitors are from countries other than India. Currently, the top 5 exhibitor countries are India, Germany, Italy, the United States and Korea.
Increased support from industry associations around the world has resulted in ten international pavilions: Australia, China, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Korea and Spain. Germany, with more than 70 registered companies, has the largest joint national pavilion to ever be represented at a construction machinery show in India.
