Leaders in Remanufacturing to Discuss the Promising Chinese Market at Beijing Summit

June 28-29, 2017 · Beijing

As the general public, and government regulators, have demanded more environmentally sustainable products, the automotive remanufacturing (reman) industry has experienced a period of rapid growth. In China, new policies have been implemented in recent years that officially acknowledge and provide support for remanufacturing enterprises. However, challenges remain, in the form of regulatory restrictions for crucial reman activities, and low public awareness of the environmental and safety benefits offered by reman products.
In an attempt to surmount these obstacles, and provide further momentum for the booming Chinese reman industry, Duxes will host the 7th China Remanufacturing Summit 2017 on June 28-29 in Beijing. The summit will gather key figures from government agencies in China, leading global reman enterprises, and industry associations, to discuss issues that affect the future growth of reman in China.
The summit’s first day will emphasize the regulatory environment for reman in China, notably delving into the landmark Decree No. 307 issued by the State Council, as well as testimony from representatives of the MIIT, the China Association of Automotive Manufacturers, and reman enterprises, regarding pilot programs for the industry, the future market outlook, product certification, consumer attitudes, and more. The second day will continue with content detailing the relationship between reman and the product warranty period, innovative new models for import and export of reman products, as well as optimal practices for core collection, reverse logistics, distribution, and marketing.
In organizing the 7th China Remanufacturing Summit 2017, the latest event in the acclaimed Reman Series, Duxes strives to spur further growth for the remanufacturing industry, by equipping delegates with detailed knowledge regarding important topics, and providing a platform that facilitates future exchanges across borders and the public/private sector divide. Professionals involved in reman, including those working for OEMs, remanufacturers, in addition to new parts, core, and service suppliers, are invited to attend.
