Mississauga to Host Canada’s Largest Heavy Equipment Show This Week

Mississauga, ON – The National Heavy Equipment Show is moving into the International Centre in Mississauga this week, March 28 and 29. With a sold-out show floor and thousands of visitors pre-registered, the key trade event is ready to mark its 22nd year. Thousands of square feet of big iron will be on display from the country’s leading dealers and manufacturers of heavy equipment.
“It’s a huge job to bring an event of this size together every two years, and we can’t wait to open the doors this Thursday for the 2019 National Heavy Equipment Show,” said Mark Cusack, National Show Manager. “With a record-setting number of pre-registered guests and every square foot of the building filled, we are anticipating a busy event bringing all sectors of the industry together.”
With over 13,000 total visitors at its last edition, the biennial event features cutting-edge products and big machine displays; the International Centre will be filled with products and services for road building, construction, crushing & screening, and infrastructure among other high-profile sectors. With the current focus on major infrastructure projects across the country, buyers are expected to be out in full force with those projects top of mind. A sneak peek of the National Heavy Equipment Show can be found in the show guide online here.
Registration for the event is $20.00 at the door. Members of the media are invited to attend free of charge. To obtain media passes in advance, please contact Moira Pellerine, Marketing & Operations Manager at [email protected].
Career seekers have the opportunity to bring resumes and credentials with them to the show, as the ‘Recruiting Here’ program connects job seekers with hiring companies. Meet some of the biggest Heavy Equipment players from across the country and get face-to-face time with businesses and recruiters; participating companies will have specially marked signs on the show floor.
