SMOPYC 2011

THE EVENT, CO-ORGANISED WITH THE CREA, WILL BE HELD ON 5TH AND 6TH APRIL WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ENTERPRISE EUROPE NETWORKZaragoza, 16th June 2010. The coming edition of SMOPYC will once again be the centre of attention for the international sector. With the aim of strengthening and promoting business cooperation and the internationalization of enterprises, Zaragoza Exhibition Centre and the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Aragon (CREA) have joined forces to organize a highly attractive initiative aimed at encouraging the participation of leading makes and firms related to the public works, construction and mining machinery sector.

The event that will take place on 5th and 6th April, within the framework of SMOPYC 2011, is staged within the context of the Enterprise Europe Network that the CREA forms part of. This first order international encounter will attract the participation of more than 200 international buyers from forty countries who are expected to flock to this world construction machinery event. CREA made an agenda of previous and scheduled bilateral interviews, businesses working in the same market and with common interests and profiles will have the chance to come together and hold meetings.
The fact that SMOPYC (Zaragoza Exhibition Centre) and CREA have cooperated in this undertaking has been fundamental in once again bringing together the main players in the world economy and the construction market. This forum has gained a well-earned reputation as a highly useful tool of international renown, fully backed by the EU.
With the launch of this event SMOPYC 2011 continues to work towards implementing activities that facilitate and optimize the task of the exhibiting companies in relation to the opening up new markets and finding partners in different countries. The ultimate goal is to promote cooperation between companies in order to further their internationalization and to achieve agreements between different companies in the European Union.
Amongst the main objectives of this action is that of promoting business in Europe and establishing business, technological and research agreements.
The Enterprise Europe Network, a body that is promoted by the Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry of the European Union, offers a wide range of services and business opportunities as well as providing made-to-measure solutions for the different stages in the business cycle.
The network is formed by the main agents who provide support for the companies throughout the whole of Europe, with more than 500 organisations distributed throughout forty European countries and other associated nations. It also has specialized staff that receive and provide advice on the requests and requirements of the different companies and analyze each company’s potential.
On this occasion it is expected that more than 800 business meetings will be held.
